NIC Platform Optical Network Test Solution

The NIC Platform is a scalable solution for Telecom, Datacom and DWDM communications networks. With a flexible software/firmware based architecture, the NIC combines in a single platform the multitude of traditional hardware-based test sets required to install, maintain, and monitor high-speed multi-protocol networks.

Product Highlights

The NIC Platform is a modular solution, comprised of 4 different chassis types, which may carry combinations of eleven hardware modules.

The NIC 40G is the industry’s smallest and lightest 40/43G test set. The NIC Plus is the industry’s leading solution for all-in-one SONET/SDH/OTN and Ethernet/Fibre Channel test in one portable unit. Multi-port configurations are available. Certain NIC modules can be enhanced with additional test capabilities via license-based Test Options either with the original purchase or as a field upgrade as needed. To monitor, manage and control multiple NICs in a network the NIO software is available along with other accessories to enable more cost-effective network implementation and maintenance.
